B2 level English or higher.

This course is appropriate for teachers with any level of experience.

Aims:

These days, nearly everyone is using smartphones, tablets and social media, including your learners. This course explores how these powerful tools can be used to enhance education. It’s ideal no matter what your level of experience with technology, offering simple guides as well as practical explanations on how to create learning materials, manage learners’ work, and improve feedback and collaboration in your lessons. It also examines the advantages and challenges associated with the ‘mobile revolution’ and the use of social networking in teaching. This will give you the confidence to use these tools and to do so effectively to really benefit your class.

By taking this course, you’ll learn:

  • How to use iPhones, Android phones and other smartphones and tablets effectively for education.
  • How to use Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social networks effectively for   education.
  • How to use interactive whiteboards and software applications effectively in class.
  • How to pick the right tools for your learning goals.
